Luis Gonzalez returned to the Arizona Diamondbacks in August of 2009 as Special Assistant to President and CEO Derrick Hall.
His enthusiasm and commitment to the children of Arizona has sparked numerous ideas, all focused on helping kids in our community. Needless to say, Gonzo is a perfect fit for the D-backs and a priceless ambassador for programs that better the lives of children across our great state.
Going Gonzo for Kids is an exciting and multifaceted fundraising initiative that captures the D-backs and Gonzo's shared passion for positively impacting the lives of children.
Throughout the season you will see special raffles, programs, fan initiatives, corporate partner ticket programs, and children's charitable projects all designed to raise funds that will be distributed by the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.
