Autographs

Prior to every Fiesta Friday and Super Saturday, the Marlins will host player autograph sessions at the Strike Zone at Gate H, which are open to the public. Friday player autograph sessions are open to all ages, while the Saturday player autograph sessions will be for kids 12 and under only. Saturdays will also include celebrity and alumni autograph sessions pregame at the Strike Zone that are open to all ages. The autograph sessions will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be for a limited number of fans.

Baseball for Autism Awareness (April 30, 2010)

The Marlins have teamed up with the Autism Society of America and other organizations to promote education, advocacy, and public awareness about autism. Billy's Bunch Show

Billy The Marlin is the official mascot of the Miami Marlins. He is in attendance at every Marlins home game and performs a special routine during the middle of the 5th inning of each game. Cafecitos con los Marlins

A one-hour Spanish radio show originating from a select location in the Hispanic community every Friday, throughout the year. The show airs on WQBA 1140 AM from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Eduardo Gonzalez Rubio will host the show along with Pedro Milian and Juan Martinez, which features interviews, analysis and prizes. Fans can visit the local Latin cafeterias and enjoy the live broadcast, as well as complimentary Cuban coffee, courtesy of Café Bustelo.

Cameras

Cameras and videotaping are allowed in the stadium. However, fans may not reproduce any film shot at Sun Life Stadium for any commercial use without the written permission of the Miami Marlins. Please be courteous and careful not to obstruct the view of others when taking pictures.

Camp Day

Car Service

Sun Life Stadium provides free assistance pregame or post-game should fans experience car trouble while attending a Marlins game. Contact a Sun Life Stadium employee for assistance.

CBS4 Weather Day

The 4th Annual event takes place on Wednesday, April 28th when the Marlins take on the Padres at 12:10 pm. Celebration Club

The Celebration Club offers fans the opportunity to display a personalized message on the scoreboard as well as order a gift bag. Special deliveries by Billy The Marlin and the Mermaids are available. Children can also join Billy The Marlin during the 7th inning stretch. Marriage proposals can be arranged. Diamond Dash

As part of Family Sundays, all kids 12 and under will be able to run the bases on the field immediately following every Sunday home game at Sun Life Stadium. Once the game has ended, kids and parents or chaperons should report to the concourse of section 141-142, where they will be escorted to the field. Diamond Dash is subject to rain conditions, time of game etc. Billy's Bunch members may also show their membership card to go to the VIP Diamond Dash line.

Disabled Seating

Guests with Disabilities who wish to attend Marlins games are offered seating with wheelchair access. Contact the Marlins ticket office at 877-MARLINS for more information. Parking is also available and access may be obtained by calling the same number.

50-50 Raffle

The Miami Marlins Community Foundation will host a 50-50 Raffle every Sunday during the season. Raffle tickets are available for the following donations: 1 for $3, 2 for $5, 5 for $10 or 20 for $15. The raffle is held from the time the gates open until the end of the third inning. One lucky winner will receive one-half of the money collected from the raffle that day. The other half will be used for the Cornerstones for Kids programs. The winning number will be announced during the game on Marlins Vision and the winning number will be posted on the FMCF website, marlins.com/raffles Official 501 (c) (3) organizations now have an opportunity to raise funds by participating in the 50/50 Sunday raffle. Family Fun Zone

The Marlins Family Fun Zone is an interactive play area for fans of all ages. The Fun Zone is part of Marlins Fan Headquarters located outside of Section 146. The Family Fun Zone offers kids the opportunity to play MLB 2K10 on one of four XBOX 360 consoles, meet the Maniacs, spin the prize wheel, and play in a bounce house. Adults have the opportunity to hit in a big league batting cage and win a prize by testing their accuracy on the Marlins Pitching Inflatable. The Family Fun Zone opens 90 minutes prior to the start of the game and remains open through the 7th inning.

Family Sundays

Every Sunday home game is Marlins Family Sunday. Fans are encouraged to head to Strike Zone early as gates open at 11:30AM. Family Sunday activities at the Strike Zone at Gate H include Snapshot Sunday (where fans can take pictures with a Marlins player for a limited time), live visits from Billy and other characters, as well as music, games, and activities from Radio Disney AM 990. Plus, the Marlins Family Fun Zone will be open at Marlins Fan Headquarters, outside of Section 146 from the time the gates open until the 7th inning. After the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases on the field in the Diamond Dash.

Letters to Marlins players should be addressed to the players in care of the Miami Marlins, Sun Life Stadium, 2267 Dan Marino Blvd., Miami, FL 33056. If a response is desired, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. All letters are delivered to the addressee, but a personal response from a player cannot be guaranteed. Generic fan mail letters are reviewed by Community Outreach, who generally respond with a Fan Pack.

"Fans Care" Program

Donors contribute and receive a tax deductible donation to the Miami Marlins Community Foundation. Funds will go towards purchasing tickets so less fortunate youth in South Florida may have the opportunity of a lifetime to attend a Major League Baseball game. Miami Marlins Youth Baseball Invitational

Kids ages 4-8, along with their teammates, can participate in the Marlins 6th Annual T-Ball and coach-Pitch Invitational. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will take place on the field at Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, June 5th. Act fast, as only the first 35 teams to complete registration will qualify. First Aid

The First Aid stations are located at Section 156 and Section 442 (Friday & Saturday games only) for your convenience. Please notify the nearest event staff member or usher if you should require assistance. Additionally, there are Metro-Dade Fire Rescue workers located throughout the stadium.

The Miami Marlins Community Foundation hosts an annual Casino Party, "Fish 'N Chips," at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle in Aventura to benefit the Cornerstones for Kids programs. Call (305) 623-6497 for more information.

Fiesta Fridays presented by Jiffy Lube

Every Friday night home game is a Fiesta Friday! Fans are encouraged to come early for the Fiesta Friday Happy Hour at the Strike Zone at Gate H from 5:30-7PM for live Salsa music, Dominando con los Marlins, live broadcasts, an autograph session with Marlins players, giveaways and much more. Also, fans will be treated to live music throughout the game from the Marlins Pachanga band. Fans can stay after the game for The 10th Inning Party with appearances from the Mermaids and the Manatees.

Foul Balls

The Marlins are happy to have you keep any baseballs thrown or hit into the stands. However, fans must not enter the playing surface to retrieve balls or otherwise interfere with balls still in play. All fans are cautioned to stay alert for foul balls at all times.

Friday Nights Are Fun

The Miami Marlins Community Foundation hosts a key fundraiser every Friday night during Marlins home games at the Community Corner, section 149. Fans can check out the raffle, silent auction, grab bags, mystery table and other special features. FNAF starts when the gates open and continues until the end of the third inning.

FOX Sports Florida Fantasy Auction

FOX Sports Florida and the Miami Marlins Community Foundation present an annual FOX Sports Florida Fantasy Auction. The auctions include many unique Fantasy items for both Marlin's fans and FOX Sports Florida viewers to experience.

Greatest Save Program

The Greatest Save Program is a great way for parents to promote the safety of their children while enjoying a Marlins game at Sun Life Stadium. Parents are urged to enroll their child in the Greatest Save Program at Guest Relations at section 156 and section 456, or at the Concierge at section 242 and section 342. Upon enrollment, their seat location will be recorded, which will help facilitate their safe return in the event they are separated or lost.

Jr. RBI League (formerly Mini-Marlins League)

The Jr. RBI League is run in conjunction with the City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department. The invitational league ensures that kids growing up in disadvantaged urban areas of Miami have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball. The League consists for 3 divisions; T-Ball, Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch. As the kids age out of the program, they become eligible to participate in the RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) Program. The Miami Marlins Community Foundation supplies uniforms, and equipment for the league.

Marlins@School is an on-line curriculum enhancement program that utilizes the Miami Marlins as the basis for the lessons. Marlins Fan Headquarters is located outside of Section 146 and is open every home game. The official name of the Jumbotron. Marlins Wives Back to School Drive (July 23, 2010)

The Miami Marlins wives encourage fans to donate school supplies during their Annual Back to School Drive. The wives' drive helps prepare South Florida's less fortunate children with the necessary supplies to head back to school. Supplies, such as paper, pencils, folders, notebooks, backpacks, calculators, rulers, crayons, and clothing such as socks and undergarments, will be collected at entrance gates and donated to the SOS Children's Village. The 2010 Wives Back to School Drive will be held on Friday, July 23.

Marlins Wives Tackle Box Auction (July 24, 2010)

The Marlins Wives and the Miami Marlins Community Foundation will once again team up to hold the 2010 Wives Tackle Box Auction. The auction will take place on Saturday, July 24, and will once again feature Marlins Tackle Boxes. Each Tackle Box will represent a Marlins player and include an autographed item as well as items unique to their personalities.

Marlins Youth Baseball Clinic Series

The Miami Marlins Youth Baseball Clinic Series allows Marlins coaches and players the opportunity to pass along their baseball knowledge to kids. In order to give children the experience of learning baseball from professionals, the Marlins conduct clinics on select Saturday mornings throughout the year. Marlins players and coaches teach the fundamentals of pitching, hitting and fielding.

National Anthem

Singers interested in performing the national anthem for a Marlins home game are asked to submit a demo tape performing the anthem a-capella (without music). Instrumentalists are also asked to submit a demo tape without accompaniment. All performers should label their audition tapes with their name, address and telephone number. The tapes should be sent to the Marlins offices to Luis Dones attention. Due to the numerous requests from performers and limited available dates, we cannot guarantee that everyone submitting an audition tape will be scheduled to perform. Player Appearances

Requests for player appearances must be submitted in writing, at least six weeks prior to the event, to the Marlins Community Outreach Department. Please specify date, location and specific details regarding the event. Due to the large number of requests received, an individual appearance is not guaranteed.

Playing Field

Sun Life Stadium prides itself on the prescription athletic turf (natural grass) making up its playing surface. It was designed with mechanical drainage capability and provides a firm surface within 30 minutes of a one-inch-per-hour downpour. The stadium also features a synthetic warning track designed to absorb water and a hydraulic, disappearing pitcher's mound.

The Marlins Radio Network makes it easy for you to catch a game. Our flagship station (WAXY 790 AM) Sports Talk 790 The Ticket will carry all 162 regular season games throughout the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. You can also catch all the action in West Palm Beach WEFL 760 AM, Key West WKWF 1600 AM, Marathon WFFG 1300 AM, Stuart WSTU 1450 AM, Naples/Ft. Myers WWCN 770 AM, Belle Glade WSWN 900 AM, and Daytona Beach WELE 1380 AM. Marlins radio broadcasts are also available in Spanish on WAQI 710 AM in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale metro area.

Rainout/Cancelled

Any Miami Marlins regular season home game that is rained out: All tickets can be exchanged for ANY remaining regular season home game based on availability. Any game rained out in September, those tickets can be exchanged for any April Regular Season home game excluding Opening Day and any other blackout dates.

Rain Delay

Any Miami Marlins Regular Season home game that has 90 minutes worth of rain delays in that game: All tickets can be exchanged for any Mon-Thurs Regular Season home game for $1.00 based on availability. Any September game that has 90 minutes of rain delays: these tickets can be exchanged for any Mon-Thurs April regular season home game, excluding Opening Day and any other blackout dates.

RBI Program

Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) is a youth program offering children ages 13-18, who live in disadvantaged areas, the opportunity to participate in organized baseball and softball. This program is designed to promote interest in baseball, academic achievement and social responsibility. The Miami Marlins Community Foundation will supply uniforms, umpires and equipment for the season. For more information email rbi@marlins.com.

Re-entry

Major League Baseball rules prohibit fans from re-entering the stadium after they leave a game. In case of extreme emergencies, please contact the gate supervisor for assistance.

Restrooms

Conveniently located throughout Sun Life Stadium, most restrooms have accommodations for guests with disabilities and are also equipped with baby changing stations.

Saturday Raffle

The Miami Marlins Community Foundation holds a raffle at each Saturday home game. Super Saturday Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Foundation volunteers will be selling raffle tickets at the following locations: Gate G lobby, Gate F & H Plazas and sections 138, 149, 156 and 244 from the time the gates open until the end of the first inning. Winners are announced at the end of the 4th inning on Marlins Vision. Participants can also go to marlins.com/raffles to check the winning numbers. Winners collect their prizes at the Community Corner, section 149. If a winner does not collect his or her prize on the day of the game, he or she will have 7 days to claim their winnings.

Saturday Autograph Sessions

Every Super Saturday during the season, the Marlins will host celebrity and player autograph sessions at the Strike Zone which are open to the public. The autograph sessions will feature Marlins players and alumni, celebrities, and Super Saturday post-game concert artists, based on availability. The autograph sessions will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be for a limited number of fans.

Scout Days

During Scout Days, all Boy and Girl Scouts in uniform will receive a special Scout Day Patch. All Scout Packs and Troops will receive huge savings in the Infield Box, Bullpen Box and Outfield Terrace seats.

Season Ticket Holder Photo Day

Marlins players, coaches and Billy The Marlin will participate in a one (1) hour event on the field prior to the August 21, Marlins vs. Astros game. Full and 41-Game Season Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Marlins players, Billy The Marlin and coaches.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the seating areas, restrooms, concourse or any area of the Club Level of the Sun Life Stadium. Smoking is permitted on the ramps of each level in the designated areas.

Snapshot Sunday

Snapshot Sunday is the best opportunity for fans to take a picture with a Marlins player. Fans who arrive early at Strike Zone when the gates open 1½ before the first pitch will have the opportunity to take a picture with a Marlins player, Billy, or the Mermaids at Snapshot Sunday. A player will only be available for the first 100 fans. Fans need to bring their own cameras. Snapshot Sunday is first-come, first-serve, and photographs are not guaranteed.

"Stars and Stripes" Ticket Program

The Miami Marlins are proud to announce the fourth season for their "Stars and Stripes" ticket program for United States military personnel and their families. Unveiled in 2003, this program allows military personnel, Active, Reserve, and National Guard, and their dependents, to attend Marlins regular season Sunday games for free. Close to14, 000 tickets have been provided for members of the United States Military and their families during the first three years of this program.

To receive their complimentary tickets, eligible military personnel, or dependents, must present their military ID (DOD or Homeland Security cards) at the Gate H box office at Sun Life Stadium, on the day of the game, at least 1 hour prior to the start of the game. This program is good for every Marlins Sunday home game and tickets are subject to availability.

Strike Zone at Gate H

The Strike Zone is the interactive entertainment area at Gate H and is open before all weekend games. Strike Zone will encompass the entire Gate H plaza area and opens 90 minutes before first pitch. The Strike Zone is the destination for Marlins fans to enjoy pregame activities, games, entertainment, autograph sessions and much more. On Fiesta Fridays before the game, fans can enjoy a live music from a salsa band, Dominando con los Marlins (dominoes tournament), an autograph session with Marlins players and live radio station broadcasts. After the games on Friday, fans can stay for the 10th Inning Party with live entertainment for one hour after the conclusion of the game. On Super Saturdays, fans can get autographs from celebrities and Marlins alumni, and kids 12 and under can get autographs from select Marlins players! Plus, enjoy games, activities, and live music on the Strike Zone stage for all ages. The Mermaids, Manatees and Maniacs also visit the Strike Zone before all Saturday games. And on Family Sundays, the Strike Zone is the place to be for families to enjoy face painters, clowns, arts and crafts, bounce houses, and activities and games from Radio Disney AM 990. Fans can also take pictures with a Marlins player, Billy The Marlin, Lil Billy and the Mermaids as part of Snapshot Sunday.

The Marlins support Teach for America by sponsoring teachers at Lenora B Smith Elementary School and West Little River Elementary School, both located in Miami. Teach for America is a non-profit organization that trains and places outstanding recent college graduates, of all academic majors, into classrooms in the most economically disadvantaged communities in America.

Television Coverage

FOX Sports Florida begins its 13th year as the exclusive cable TV home of the Marlins with announcers Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton providing all the action and analysis, and sportscasters Craig Minervini and Frank Forte as hosts of the pregame show, Marlins Live. FOX Sports Florida and sister network, Sun Sports, will air 150 regular season games, the majority will be available in High Definition. Raul Striker, Jr. and Cookie Rojas will team up for their eighth season providing SAP Spanish-language coverage for all Marlins televised home games. Check local listings.

Yearbook

The Miami Marlins Official Yearbook contains colorful photos of all the Miami Marlins players, coaches and front office, as well as interesting player and front office editorials. The Yearbook is available at Boston Concessions merchandise stands on game days, as well as through the Merchandising Department by calling 1-877-MARLINS.

Youth Baseball & Softball Days

On the following days all youth baseball or softball organizations will receive special prices in the Club B, Bullpen Box and Outfield Terrace. All Little Leaguers in uniform will also be able to participate in a pre-game, on-field parade presented by Subway.
