1. Can I subscribe using a debit card?
Yes. You can subscribe using your credit or debit card.
2. How does billing work and how do I cancel my subscription?
The one-time, annual billing term begins when you purchase and ends on approximately the last day of February of the next year, with one-time, annual billing immediately following your purchase. The subscription will automatically renew annually on approximately March 1 of the next year at the previous year's regular full annual price (which, for 2012, is $49.99), unless you signified otherwise in accordance with the applicable instructions. You may cancel your subscription or your annual automatic renewal feature by calling Customer Support toll free in the U.S. at 866-446-8254 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm ET) or by sending an email to yankeesonyes@yankees.mlb.com If you are requesting a cancellation via email, please make sure to identify the email address that is registered for the account you would like to cancel. Cancellation will become effective as of the next annual billing cycle following receipt.
The monthly billing term begins when you purchase and ends at the conclusion of the New York Yankees regular season of that year, with monthly billing occurring during each month at the then prevailing full monthly price. Your subscription will automatically renew monthly throughout the New York Yankees regular season and end at the conclusion of the New York Yankees regular season of that year and annually on approximately March 1 of each subsequent year, with monthly billing resuming during each month at the previous year's regular full monthly price (which, for 2012, is $14.99), unless, with respect to annual renewal, you signified otherwise in accordance with the applicable instructions. You may cancel your subscription or your annual automatic renewal feature by calling Customer Support toll free in the U.S. at 866-446-8254 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm ET) or email yankeesonyes@yankees.mlb.com. If you are requesting a cancellation via email, please make sure to identify the email address that is registered for the account you would like to cancel. Cancellation will become effective as of the next monthly billing cycle following receipt.
3. What is the refund policy?
In order to provide the highest customer satisfaction possible, the purchase price of a subscription requested within five (5) days after your purchase date will be refunded. Although you may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with FAQ #2 above, if you wish to cancel your subscription at any time outside the prescribed time period set forth in the immediately preceding sentence, then you will not be entitled to a refund and your cancellation will be effective as follows:
In no event will pro-rated refunds be provided.
4. Will I be granted a refund if I purchase, but am unable or fail to Activate?
Since you must be: (1) an Optimum Online customer who receives the YES Network on iO TV; (2) a Verizon FiOS TV customer who receives the YES Network; (3) a Roadrunner High Speed Online customer who receives the YES Network on Time Warner Cable; or (4) a Blue Ridge Communications Digital Cable and High Speed Internet customer who receives the YES Network (each a "Qualified Customer") in order to purchase and subsequently use the product, you will need to activate your account in the following manner:
Cablevision Customers: You will need to enter your valid Optimum ID and Password on the activation form ("Activation") no later than forty-eight (48) hours after (i) purchase or (ii) the first live streaming game is provided through Yankees on YES in each MLB Season (your "Service Opening Day"), whichever is later, to activate your account. You will be prompted to initiate Activation via a confirmation page at the conclusion of the purchase process and in an Activation email dispatched following your purchase. After you initiate Activation and Cablevision is able to verify your status as a Qualified Customer, your account activation process will be complete.
MetroCast Broadband Subscribers: You will need to enter your valid MetroCast Broadband Username and Password on the activation form ("Activation") no later than forty-eight (48) hours after (i) purchase or (ii) your Service Opening Day, whichever is later, to activate your account. You will be prompted to initiate Activation via a confirmation page at the conclusion of the purchase process and in an Activation email dispatched following your purchase. After you initiate Activation and MetroCast is able to verify your status as a Qualified Customer, your account activation process will be complete.
Verizon FiOS TV Customers: You will need to enter your valid Verizon FiOS TV User ID and Password on the Activation form ("Activation") no later than forty-eight (48) hours after (1) your purchase; or (2) your Service Opening Day, whichever is later, to activate your account. You will be prompted to initiate Activation as follows:
Time Warner Cable Customers: You will need to enter your Time Warner Cable ID and Password on the Activation form ("Activation") no later than forty-eight (48) hours after (1) your purchase; or (2) your Service Opening Day, whichever is later, to activate your account. You will be prompted to initiate Activation via a confirmation page at the conclusion of the purchase process and (if you do not complete Activation via such confirmation page) in an Activation email dispatched following your purchase.
Blue Ridge Customers: You must at all times be a Blue Ridge High Speed Internet customer who receives the YES Network on Blue Ridge Digital Cable. Your status as reflected above will be verified by Blue Ridge within approximately forty-eight (48) hours of your purchase ("Activation").
All Qualified Customers: Because of these special product eligibility requirements, if you are unable to Activate or fail Activation within the applicable time periods set forth above for your service provider or are subsequently determined to no longer be a Qualified Customer, your service may be interrupted or terminated and
Since your credit card will be charged immediately upon your purchase and prior to verification of your eligibility to receive Yankees on YES live game streaming, you must verify that you are a Qualified Customer prior to your purchase and initiate Activation in the manner set forth above for your service provider. After your purchase and Activation and periodically during the term of your subscription, your service provider will verify your status as a Qualified Customer.
5. What if I'm a current subscriber, but am no longer a Qualified Customer?
This special package is available to Qualified Customers. You are required to maintain your status as a Qualified Customer to continue to be granted access to the product. You will not receive a refund in the event you allow your status as a Qualified Customer to lapse during the term of your subscription.
