The Rays and Yankees play the second game of a four-game series Tuesday night at Tropicana Field.

The Rays have lost eight in a row dating back to their April 24 loss to the Red Sox at the Trop.

Doug Waechter will start for the Devil Rays after posting an 0-2 record with an 11.00 ERA in 2004 against the Yankees; he has an 0-3 career mark against the Yankees with a 6.43 ERA. Kevin Brown will make his fifth start of his career vs. the Rays and his third at Tropicana Field. He last started against the Rays on May 29, 2004, and recorded the victory in a 5-3 Yankees' win.
