    The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed right-handed pitcher Ricky Nolasco on the 15-day disabled list with a right elbow strain (retro July 7). Nolasco has made 18 starts for the Twins, going 5-7, with a 5.90 ERA (103.2 IP, 68 ER), 28 walks and 72 strikeouts.
