Division and League Championship Series tickets to go on sale Wednesday

Tickets for the three potential American League Division Series games and four potential American League Championship Series games to be played at Yankee Stadium will go on sale Wednesday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Yankee Stadium Advance Ticket windows, and at 3:00 p.m. by phone through TicketMaster and on the Internet.
A maximum of two (2) tickets per person may be purchased.
AT YANKEE STADIUM: Only tickets for Division Series Home Game One and Home Game Two and American League Championship Series Home Game One and Home Game Two can be purchased at the Advance Ticket windows beginning Wednesday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
BY PHONE THROUGH TICKETMASTER: For tickets to Division Series Home Game Three and American League Championship Series Home Game Three and Home Game Four, fans may call TicketMaster at (212) 307-1212 or (212) 307-7200 (automated) beginning Wednesday, September 28th at 3:00 p.m.. Ticketmaster accepts credit card orders only.
VIA THE INTERNET: Tickets to Division Series Home Game Three and American League Championship Series Home Game Three and Home Game Four can be purchased at www.yankees.com beginning Wednesday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m.
TICKETS SOLD AT YANKEE STADIUM: In an effort to facilitate ticket sales, a Random Number Wristband Distribution procedure, previously used at Yankee Stadium, will again be utilized. This method has not only discouraged ticket scalping, but also provides fans with a fair ticket-buying method. The components of the procedure will operate as follows:
• The Yankees will distribute randomly numbered wristbands from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday outside of Gate 6 at Yankee Stadium.
• At approximately 9:45 a.m., the Yankees will announce the randomly selected starting number for the sale of tickets. The fan holding the wristband with the number drawn will be the first person in line to purchase tickets followed by the persons holding the subsequent numbers (for example, if 1150 is the number drawn, whomever is holding that wristband will be first, 1151 will be second, etc., and the person holding 1149 will be last in line).
• At 11:00 a.m., ticket sales will begin at the Advance Ticket Windows. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
• Having a wristband DOES NOT guarantee a ticket, only a place in line.
• Only one wristband per person. Children 12 and under are not eligible to receive a wristband.
• No fan with a wristband that has been or appears to have been altered or removed and reattached shall be entitled to purchase tickets.
Per the New York City Police Department, chairs, tents, sleeping bags, coolers and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the Stadium area.
Division Series tickets are priced at $81.00 for Field-Box seats; $66.00 for Main and Tier-Box seats; $61.00 for Loge-Box and Main Reserved seats; $44.00 for Tier Reserved seats; and $20.00 for Bleacher seats.
Wheelchair-accessible seats and a first companion seat are also available and priced at $61.00 for Field-Box, Main-Box (right field), Bleacher-platform and Monument Park seats; $44.00 for Main-Box (left field) seats and Main Reserved seats; and $20.00 for Main-Reserved-Alcove and Bleacher seats. Wheelchair Field "Championship" Box seats are also available at $91.00 for the wheelchair patron and first companion.
League Championship Series tickets are priced at $121.00 for Field-Box seats; $106.00 for Main-, Loge- and Tier-Box seats; $106.00 for Main Reserved seats; $86.00 for Tier Reserved seats; and $56.00 for Bleacher seats.
Wheelchair-accessible seats and a first companion seat are also available and priced at $106.00 for Field-Box seats, Main-Box (right field) seats, Bleacher-platform and Monument Park seats; $86.00 for Main-Box (left field) seats and Main Reserved seats; and $56.00 for Main-Reserved-Alcove and Bleacher seats. Wheelchair Field "Championship" Box seats are also available at $121.00 for the wheelchair patron and first companion.
Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are subject to an additional convenience charge.
Any remaining tickets not sold through the public on-sale for Division and League Championship Series Home Games 1 and 2, as well as any tickets remaining from the Ticket Account Holders Postseason Pre-On-Sale for said Division and League Championship Series Home Games 1 and 2 will be available online at www.yankees.com beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29.
Please note, any tickets purchased through the Internet for Division Series Home Game 1 and Home Game 2 must be purchased utilizing "print at home" technology. There will be NO option for "will call" or express shipping.
As a reminder, a maximum of two (2) tickets per person may be purchased. Orders exceeding the assigned ticket limits will be cancelled without contact from Ticketmaster or the New York Yankees.
Fans are encouraged to visit www.yankees.com for instructions and refund information for any unplayed games.
Game dates and times will be announced at a later date.
