Johnny Damon had three hits, three runs and four RBIs on Friday afternoon as the Yankees cruised in the opener of a five-game series at Fenway Park. The center fielder homered and tripled against his former team, and made a key sliding catch to boot, as New York struck for 17 hits in Game 1.
