With his 27th home run and three RBIs against former Yankees October stud Orlando Hernandez, Alex Rodriguez provided enough support for Chien-Ming Wang, who struck out a career-high 10 and fell one out shy of a complete game in his fourth win in as many starts. Derek Jeter extended his hit streak to 12 games.
