Jermaine Dye hit a pair of doubles in an eight-run second inning, and after the Yankees came right back with eight of their own, Dye hit a two-run homer in the fourth and a solo shot in the eighth. Paul Konerko, who singled, doubled and scored twice in the second, also went deep in the eighth.
