Pettitte gets milestone win
Yankees 2, Orioles 1
Hideki Matsui's solo homer would be all the support Andy Pettitte needed. (Kathy Willens/AP)
 Matsui's homer
The gap between the Yanks and Red Sox in the AL East is now a mere 1 1/2 games. The Bombers helped themselves, with Hideki Matsui's 25th homer of the year pacing Andy Pettitte's 200th career win, and they also got help from the Jays, who completed a series sweep of the Sox in Toronto.
