In their quest to make the playoffs, the Bombers picked up a game in the AL East and Wild Card races thanks to Bobby Abreu and Jason Giambi, who went a combined 6-for-9 with two homers. Both veterans drove in key runs during a five-run seventh to end a two-game slide.
