On the 70th anniversary of Lou Gehrig Day, Johnny Damon hit a game-tying home run in the seventh, and Jorge Posada's RBI single in the 12th won the game. Chien-Ming Wang was in command until the sixth, when he gave up a home run and left with an injury.
