Jorge Posada and Derek Jeter, who delivered the go-ahead homer in the fifth, each went 4-for-5, and Hideki Matsui hit a clutch shot in the fourth to pick up a shaky Joba Chamberlain and keep the Yanks one game behind the Sox in the AL East. Alfredo Aceves hurled four shutout innings for the save.
