Josh Beckett kept up his part of the deal by hurling seven scoreless innings, but the Red Sox's offense managed just four singles and fell 4 1/2 games behind the Yankees in the AL East when Alex Rodriguez hit a walk-off two-run homer off Junichi Tazawa.
