A historic night for Derek Jeter, who passed Lou Gehrig on the club's all-time hits list in the third, ended in a loss for the Yankees. Jeter's record-setting single followed Alex Rodriguez's early three-run homer, but the 'pen struggled against the O's offense in the middle frames.
