September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month
Please join the New York Mets and the Tomorrows Children's Institute/Joseph M. Sanzari Childrens Hospital of Hackensack University Medical Center at Citi Field to help raise awareness for this disease which affects an estimated 100,000 Americans in the United States. Tomorrows Children's Institute is a comprehensive program in New Jersey designed to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of hematologic disorders including Sickle Cell Anemia.
Funds raised from this event will empower communities to unite in an effort to broaden awareness for Sickle Cell disease and it's devastating effects on families and communities. A portion of each ticket sold will go towards the Tomorrow's Children's Institute of Hackensack University Medical Center.
