Don't miss activities for the entire family such as live programs, autograph sessions with current and former Pirates players, prizes, games, youth baseball clinics, the Pirate Parrot, and special offers on 2016 Season Ticket Memberships and 6-Game Holiday Plans.

Saturday's session is FREE and open to the general public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, December 13 is reserved exclusively for Pirates' Season Ticket Members who chose a PirateFest VIP experience as one of their 2015 Membership Experiences. The Sunday session will include exclusive autograph and picture sessions. For more information on Season Ticket Member experiences and becoming a Pirates Season Ticket Member, visit

Autograph sessions will be ticketed and sold prior to the event with all proceeds benefiting Pirates Charities and local nonprofit organizations. More information regarding autograph session ticket on-sales and schedules will be available at a later date.

All fans who purchase autograph tickets will be guaranteed autographs for the specific session(s) they wish to attend. In addition to the general autograph sessions, there will again be special autograph sessions for all kids 14-and-under throughout the weekend event that will not require a donation to Pirates Charities.

Fans are also encouraged to bring a bag of non-perishable food items and more to the PirateFest Christmas tree to support the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. For every bag of food donated, fans will receive a specially designed Pirates reusable grocery/freezer bag.

Below is a list of items needed for the "Bring a Bag, Get a Bag" PirateFest donation drive.*

  • Cereal (low sugar, high fiber preferred)
  • Canned beans
  • Hand soap/toiletries
  • Diapers (infant and adult)
  • Peanut butter
  • Tuna or salmon (packed in water)
  • Canned vegetables (no or low sodium preferred)
  • Toilet/facial tissue
  • Fruit (packed in 100% juice or water)
  • Laundry detergent

This marks the 26th year of the Pirates-themed indoor baseball carnival, the largest indoor celebration of its kind with participation from current Pirates players and coaches as well as alumni and executives.
